The Des Plaines Youth Symphony is now accepting students for its first season! This ensemble is designed for young musicians who want to continue growing through meaningful rehearsals, exciting music, and a positive ensemble experience.

Students in 6th through 12th grade
Instruments accepted - Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass
Required Experience Level - At least 1 school year of playing experience
Group is open to students in Des Plaines and the surrounding areas, including Chicago
No audition required for our inaugural season

Rehearsals are Mondays from 6 pm to 8 pm (Click here for additional Rehearsal Details)
Rehearsal location is Chippewa Middle School (Google Maps Link)

Tuition
Tuition
$500 for the Full Season (Sept - Apr)
Tuition covers the cost of all rehearsals, concerts, and musical materials used in the program
An invoice with a payment link will be sent after registration.
Payment Options:
Pay in Full ($500) before the first rehearsal
Pay 50%: $250 before the first rehearsal and the remaining $250 by October 1.
No refunds will be given after the start of the season
